You are particularly adept at maintaining inner calm and masking your outward emotions.
Check: You can maintain your calm in the face of fear, stress, or other trying emotional circumstance. A successful DC 15 check gains you a +2 circumstance bonus on all Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate and concentration checks for the next 10 minutes.
A successful DC 20 check allows you to maintain moderate comfort in extreme temperatures. Heat that causes the less composed to break out in sweat – or cold that sends them into huddled shivers appears to cause you only mild discomfort. This also grants you a +5 circumstance bonus on any concentration checks made due to distractions from the weather, this lasts for 8 hours. A successful DC 25 check allows you to fall asleep quickly even if you are not particularly tired, though environmental concerns may increase this DC.
In combat situations a successful check against a DC 20 gives you +1 bonus on attack rolls for 5 rounds.
A Composure check is a full-round action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity and each check must have a single specific goal. The same check may not be used to resist the weather and gain a +2 bonus on Bluff, diplomacy, Intimidate and concentration checks.
Retry: A composure check against the same condition may be attempted the next round.
Special: For the Composure check to resist the visible effects of the environment it should be noted that extreme heat will still cause damage or dehydration – cold will cause frostbite, as per normal.
